The information you provide below is confidential and will not be disclosed to other individuals or organizations. The information voluntarily provided here will provide COEEA a better understanding of our membership. The sole purpose of these questions is to collect self-identified demographic information that will not be individualized, but instead used to characterize our membership as a group. Your individual information will only be made public with strict protection of individual data, including redaction of name, affiliation, and any other personal identifiers. Since 2024, individual-level membership is free for everyone.

Why did we make this change?

The climate emergency is real, and COEEA is taking it seriously. To forge a stronger coalition that's more accessible to everyone, we now offer free membership at the individual level for anyone who is connected to outdoor education, passionate about environmental literacy, or concerned for the future of all living beings who call Connecticut home.

As a collective of environmental education professionals, classroom teachers, civic leaders, youth activists, decision makers, advocates, nature centers, and other like-minded folks and organizations throughout the state, our capacity to advance policy, practice, and equity in environmental learning and climate education grows as we grow.
